The Bear's Boards finish
A Bear's Boards finish is resistant to minor everyday hazards providing the following precautions are taken to maintain the beauty of your wood.
- Dust with a soft, clean, dry cloth such as Bear's Boards High Performance Microfiber Cloth
- Use the same cloth, slightly water-dampened, to dust and clean when necessary. A second cloth should be used to completely dry the wood. Always rub with the grain
- Use coasters, placemats, table pads and tablecloths when using the surface
- Avoid contact with smoking materials, hot dishes and harsh solvents such as nail polish, nail polish remover, alcohol and moisture
- Remove spills and smudges immediately
- Do not leave pliable plastic materials on wood surface; they can damage the finish
- Do not place furniture near heat outlets, windows, or in direct sunlight
